God’s Law or Human Law?
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1Today, I want to share what is on my heart with the whole world.
As I look around, I see many families struggling. I see children disrespecting their parents, broken relationships, violence, confusion, selfishness, and people calling what God says is wrong “right.” I ask myself: Why is this happening?
I believe the answer begins with one question:
The Bible teaches that God is not just another authority. He is the Creator of the universe. He created the heavens, the earth, every nation, every family, and every human being.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”
Psalm 1
If God created us, then shouldn’t the One who created us know what is best for us?
A manufacturer gives instructions for using a machine because they designed it. In the same way, God gave His Word because He designed humanity.
The Bible says:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 5–6
Every nation has laws. They help maintain order, and Christians are taught to respect lawful authorities.
“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities…”
Romans 1
But human laws can change. They are written by imperfect people, and sometimes societies disagree about what is right or wrong.
God’s character, however, does not change.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hebrews 8
“Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.”
Psalm 89
As a Christian, I believe God’s moral standards remain true even when cultures change.
God established the family as the first place where children learn love, respect, responsibility, and wisdom.
Parents sacrifice years of their lives to raise their children. They provide food, shelter, education, guidance, protection, and unconditional love.
The Bible commands children:
“Honor your father and your mother.”
Exodus 12
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”
Ephesians 1–3
The Bible also commands parents:
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
Ephesians 4
Respect is not meant to flow only from parents to children. It is meant to be mutual, expressed through love, wisdom, patience, and care.
Many societies give young adults the legal freedom to make their own decisions.
Legal freedom is important.
But I also ask:
The Bible encourages us to seek wisdom, not merely independence.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
Proverbs 10
Wisdom grows through humility, learning, experience, and listening to godly counsel.
Throughout the Bible, God warned people about sin—not because He hated them, but because He loved them and desired their good.
When people repented, God often showed mercy.
When they stubbornly rejected Him, they experienced the consequences of their choices.
The people of Nineveh repented after hearing God’s message through Jonah, and God spared them.
God says:
“If my people… will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven… and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 14
This is my opinion as a Christian.
I believe many of today’s problems begin when people reject God’s wisdom.
If we taught children to love God, honor their parents, respect one another, tell the truth, forgive, reject violence, and live according to God’s Word, I believe our families and communities would be stronger.
I am not saying every problem would disappear, but I believe God’s Word offers wisdom that benefits individuals, families, and society.
I would like everyone to think about these questions:
- If God created us, shouldn’t we seek His wisdom for how to live?
- If God’s commands are given out of love, why do we so often ignore them?
- Why do we trust changing human opinions more than God’s unchanging Word?
- If children are taught to honor their parents and parents are taught to raise their children with love and wisdom, wouldn’t families become stronger?
- If more people lived according to Jesus’ command to love God and love their neighbors, what kind of world would we build?
Jesus said:
“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ … ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 37–40
My prayer is not to condemn anyone, but to encourage every person to seek God’s truth.
May we humble ourselves before God, repent where needed, love one another, honor our parents, care for our children, pursue justice, and walk in the wisdom of Christ.

I am not writing this because I want to control anyone or take away anyone’s freedom. That is not my intention. I am writing this because I see many families suffering. I see parents crying, children becoming distant from their families, relationships breaking apart, and many people making life-changing decisions without seeking God’s wisdom. My purpose is not to judge or condemn anyone, but to encourage every person to pause, seek God with a sincere heart, and ask whether His Word might offer the wisdom, hope, and direction we all need. If my words encourage even one person to open the Bible, draw closer to God, honor their family, and seek His guidance before making important decisions, then I will be thankful. These are my personal convictions as a follower of Jesus Christ, shared with love, humility, and the hope that God’s truth will bring peace, healing, and restoration to every family.
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਜਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ?
“ਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ।”
ਉਤਪਤ 1ਅੱਜ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਵੇਖਦੀ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕਰਦੇ, ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ, ਹਿੰਸਾ, ਉਲਝਣ, ਸੁਆਰਥ, ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ “ਸਹੀ” ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਵੇਖਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਹਾਂ: ਇਹ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਵਾਬ ਇੱਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ:
ਬਾਈਬਲ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ। ਉਸਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼, ਧਰਤੀ, ਹਰ ਕੌਮ, ਹਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ।
“ਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ।”
ਉਤਪਤ 1
“ਧਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ, ਸੰਸਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ।”
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 1
ਜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ?
ਇੱਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਵਰਤਣ ਲਈ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਚਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ।
ਬਾਈਬਲ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ:
“ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਝ ਉੱਤੇ ਟੇਕ ਨਾ ਰੱਖ।”
ਕਹਾਉਤਾਂ 5–6
ਹਰ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
“ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਰਹੇ…”
ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 1
ਪਰ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਅਪੂਰਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਸਮਾਜ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਗ਼ਲਤ।
ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲਦਾ।
“ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ, ਅੱਜ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ।”
ਇਬਰਾਨੀਆਂ 8
“ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਤੇਰਾ ਬਚਨ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਹੈ; ਇਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ।”
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 89
ਇੱਕ ਮਸੀਹੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ, ਮੈਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮਿਆਰ ਸੱਚੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ।
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਪਿਆਰ, ਆਦਰ, ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ, ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਸਿੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਮਾਪੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਲ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਭੋਜਨ, ਆਸਰਾ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ, ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਬਾਈਬਲ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ:
“ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰ।”
ਕੂਚ 12
“ਬੱਚਿਓ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮੰਨੋ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ।”
ਅਫ਼ਸੀਆਂ 1–3
ਬਾਈਬਲ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ:
“ਪਿਤਾਓ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਓ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਲੋ।”
ਅਫ਼ਸੀਆਂ 4
ਆਦਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਗਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਇਹ ਦੋਹੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਿਆਰ, ਬੁੱਧੀ, ਧੀਰਜ, ਅਤੇ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ।
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਹਾਂ:
ਬਾਈਬਲ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
“ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਭੈ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਢ ਹੈ।”
ਕਹਾਉਤਾਂ 10
ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ, ਸਿੱਖਣ, ਤਜਰਬੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਸੁਣਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਧਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਰੀ ਬਾਈਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ — ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੋਬਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਦਯਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਠ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਭੁਗਤਣੇ ਪਏ।
ਨੀਨਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੂਨਾਹ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਤੋਬਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ:
“ਜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ… ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਮਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਭਾਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੜਨ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਣਾਂਗਾ… ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”
2 ਇਤਹਾਸ 14
ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਮਸੀਹੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਾਏ ਹੈ।
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ, ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ, ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਣਾ, ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨਾ, ਹਿੰਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨਾ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੀਣਾ ਸਿਖਾਈਏ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਉਹ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਵਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚੇ:
- ਜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜੀਣ ਦੇ ਢੰਗ ਲਈ ਉਸਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਾਲਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ?
- ਜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਕਸਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ?
- ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅਟੱਲ ਬਚਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ?
- ਜੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ?
- ਜੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗੇ?
ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ:
“‘ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਿਲ, ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੋਚ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰ।’ … ‘ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰ।’ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਰੀਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੋ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਟਿਕੇ ਹਨ।”

ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਸ਼ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਮਰ ਕਰੀਏ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲੋੜ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੋਬਾ ਕਰੀਏ, ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੀਏ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰੀਏ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰੀਏ, ਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰੀਏ, ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੀਏ।
“ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਕੌਮ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ।”
ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 12
“ਧਰਮ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਪਾਪ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਹੈ।”
ਕਹਾਉਤਾਂ 34
ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖ ਰਹੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਖੋਹਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲਿਖ ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਝੱਲਦੇ ਵੇਖਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਂਦੇ, ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੁੱਟਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਭਾਲੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਦਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਵੇਖਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਂ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੁਕਣ, ਸੱਚੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਣ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਉਸਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਉਹ ਬੁੱਧੀ, ਆਸ, ਅਤੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਇੱਕ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਈਬਲ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਣ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦੀ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੀ। ਇਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਵਜੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹਨ, ਪਿਆਰ, ਨਿਮਰਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਆਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸੱਚ ਹਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ, ਚੰਗਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਬਹਾਲੀ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ।
